About the Role
I'm a licensed real estate agent and a busy mom looking for a reliable, adaptable right-hand person to help balance both worlds. This is a true "extension of me" role — one day you might be dropping off/picking up my little ones (5 and under) from daycare or an activity, the next you're filming a walkthrough video for a new listing. No two days will look exactly alike, and that's the point.
I want to create an environment where my kids get to be part of my work life when it makes sense — tagging along to a showing, being present while I'm on a call — but also have dedicated kid-free time built in when I need to focus. This role should be able to flex between both.
Responsibilities
Family Support
- Drive kids (ages 5 and under) to and from daycare/preschool and activities
- Provide occasional childcare/supervision for young kids as schedules require, including watching them during dedicated windows so I can focus on work
- Be flexible to also include the kids in work activities when appropriate (showings, errands, calls)
- Comfortable with car seats, nap/activity schedules, and the needs of little ones
- Help keep the household running smoothly around a busy work schedule
Real Estate & Social Media
- Film and help edit short-form video content for listings and open houses (walkthroughs, reels, promo clips)
- Assist with posting and managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram)
- Help prep for open houses and showings (signage, staging touch-ups, errands)
- Support with basic listing coordination and client communication as needed
General
- Drive Maggie to appointments, showings, or errands when needed to maximize her productivity (e.g. so she can work, take calls, or prep while in transit)
- Run errands, manage scheduling, and take on miscellaneous tasks as they come up
- Be flexible and willing to jump between "mom mode" and "work mode" throughout the day
Requirements
- Must live in or very near Hermiston, OR
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
- Comfortable and confident driving with young children in the car (car seat use required)
- Childcare experience with young kids (5 and under) strongly preferred
- Comfortable using a smartphone to shoot and post video/photo content
- Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet — this role involves both family and client-facing responsibilities
- Flexible schedule; some evenings/weekends may be needed for open houses or events
- Own reliable vehicle preferred (or willingness to drive family vehicle)
Nice to Have
- Experience with social media content creation or basic video editing
- Interest in real estate or marketing
What I'm Looking For
Someone easygoing, dependable, and genuinely good with kids — who's also up for learning the real estate side and pitching in wherever needed. Think less "job description with rigid lanes" and more "trusted extra set of hands."
