What You’ll Do:
- Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic, and complex general surgeries, including bariatric procedures
- Assist with preoperative preparations and intraoperative procedures in a busy OR setting
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Manage surgical instruments and patient positioning during procedures
- Monitor patient condition throughout surgical interventions and respond promptly to emergencies
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic medical records
- Support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced surgical environment
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience, including neurosurgery, spine, ortho, or complex general surgery
- BCLS certification; EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Experience in Level I trauma and neuro surgeries is a plus
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
