Job Title: LPN
Location: Valhalla, NY
Rate: Up to $1850.00 Gross weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Contract: 13-week Contract; Local or Travel accepted
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records and computer documentation
- Strong attention to detail and medication administration skills
Certifications:
- Active LPN License
- CPR/BLS Certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care within a correctional setting
- Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Obtain diagnostic tests and assist with medical procedures as needed
- Count and document controlled substances according to policy
- Document nursing encounters accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, providers, and other healthcare personnel
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and protocols
