Job Description:
Surfside Pizza is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to join our crew in a dual role as a cashier and in the kitchen helping out. This seasonal, part-time position includes both kitchen duties—prepping and making pizzas to our high standards—and front-of-house responsibilities, such as greeting customers, taking orders, and operating the register. This role participates in a tip pool shared among in-house staff.
Hourly pay plus pooled in-house tips.
We’re a fast-paced, family-owned pizzeria in Orange Beach with a fun, team-oriented environment. This is a seasonal, part-time role with the potential to grow into a year-round full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Greet customers and take orders in person and by phone
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining area, and prep space
- Fold boxes and assist with food prep
- Clean and restock as needed to keep things running smoothly
- Deliver pizzas as needed only
- Perform other general tasks to support the team
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be reliable, friendly, and a team player
- Comfortable working in both kitchen and customer-facing roles
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
