Position Summary
As a Full-Time Childcare Worker, you will help create a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care. You will work closely with fellow staff members to provide quality early childhood experiences that support each child's development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create a welcoming, engaging, and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, and rest time.
- Foster positive behavior through encouragement, redirection, and developmentally appropriate guidance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all childcare center policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and team members to provide exceptional care and education.
Qualifications
- Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable, positive, and professional attitude.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting, bending, standing, and participating in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Must successfully complete required background checks and state-mandated trainings.
