Product Owner | Albany - Troy, NY | Local Candidates Only | No Sponsorship Available
EverPeak Recruitment is partnering with a growing software development organization seeking a Product Owner to help bridge business objectives and technical execution. This role will work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to drive product initiatives from concept through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and system requirements
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage backlog priorities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support testing, validation, and successful product releases
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with user stories, APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- Healthcare technology or benefits administration experience
- Process improvement and systems analysis experience
- Exposure to SQL, reporting, or data analysis tools

After onboarding, employees work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. As a result, only candidates local to the Albany/Troy area will be considered.
