American Traveler is hiring an Invasive Cardiac Tech for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level III Trauma Center in Oshkosh, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and ARRT or RCIS certification.

Work in a 2-room cath lab department consisting of 1 EP/Cath room and 1 dedicated Cath Lab at a 72-bed Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center

Procedures include diagnostic and interventional catheterization, femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps
-
Average of 4 cases per day

Facility operates a 24/7, 365 STEMI program
-
4x10-hour day shifts with a 6:30 AM start time, 40 hours per week
-
On-call requirement of approximately 15 days per month, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend with one to two nights per week

Floating is limited to between rooms within the department and the pre-op area

EMR: Epic (experience required)

Hemodynamic system: Maclab; IV pump: Alaris; medication dispensing: Pyxis; imaging equipment: GE C-arms

Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, with most recent experience within the last year

Current BLS and ARRT or RCIS certification required; ACLS preferred
-
Active license required if applicable

Hands-on experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers

Experience with diagnostic and interventional cath procedures including femoral and radial approaches, IFR, and FFR
-
1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, collected within the last year
