We are hiring a full-time Survey Party Chief for field surveying work in New York.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42–$50 per hour, based on experience
We are looking for an experienced Survey Party Chief to lead a field crew on a variety of surveying projects, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction layout, as-builts, and general field work.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a field survey crew
Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction layout, and as-built surveys
Operate total stations, data collectors, levels, and other surveying equipment
Read and interpret plans, field notes, legal descriptions, and survey maps
Collect accurate field data and communicate clearly with office staff and project managers
Maintain equipment and follow proper field procedures
Work safely and professionally on job sites
Requirements:
Experience as a Survey Party Chief or strong field surveying experience
Ability to work independently and lead a crew
Knowledge of boundary, topo, construction layout, and ALTA survey procedures
Experience with total stations, data collectors, and levels
Ability to read plans and understand field layouts
Valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail and reliability
