What You'll Do: Create Amazing Guest Experiences
- Welcome every guest with a smile and make them feel right at home.
- Lead fun and engaging wine tastings while sharing knowledge about our wines, beers, cocktails, and local producers.
- Mix and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Recommend drinks, food pairings, and retail items based on guests' tastes.
- Serve food quickly and consistently while maintaining our quality standards.
- Turn first-time visitors into loyal Barrel 33 fans.
Behind the Bar
- Prepare beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails with accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices.
- Keep the bar running smoothly during busy service while maintaining a fun, upbeat atmosphere.
Retail & Daily Operations
- Process sales accurately using our POS system.
- Keep the tasting room, retail shop, kitchen, and bar clean, organized, and inviting.
- Restock wine, beer, food, and retail merchandise.
- Assist with inventory, labeling, rotating stock, and minimizing waste.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Help with special events, wine clubs, live music nights, and private parties.
Be a Great Teammate
- Jump in wherever help is needed.
- Communicate with coworkers and managers to keep service running smoothly.
- Stay productive during slower times by cleaning, stocking, and preparing for the next rush.
- Bring positive energy and help create a workplace people enjoy coming to every day.
What We're Looking For
- Weekend availability is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, tasting rooms, restaurants, retail, or customer service is preferred.
- Bartending experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
- A passion for wine, craft beer, cocktails, and food—or a genuine desire to learn.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service.
- Calm under pressure and confident handling busy shifts.
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Current alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain one if required).
