We are looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable pool service technician to service and maintain the club’s pools, fountains, and Spa water features. Responsibilities include, but not limited to testing the PH of the pool water, perform routine pool maintenance and cleaning tasks. Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of pool systems.
The successful candidate must have knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals.
Pool and Spa Operator (CPO) certification.
Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Testing swimming pool water PH, and chlorine levels.
- Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct water chemistry.
- Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment.
- Repairing pipes, valves and plumbing for spas and pools.
- Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
- Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
- Responsible to maintain outdoor and indoor water features.
- Cleaning salt cells.
Pool Service Technician Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or Service Technician
- Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
- Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and equipment repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
- Professional appearance.
- Must have previous experience in indoor/outdoor pool chemistry.
- Basic knowledge in 3 phase motors.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with others.
The employee may be required to perform other related duties assigned, to meet ongoing needs of the Club. Work with the Engineering team with the duties during special events and everyday tasks.
