We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and highly skilled Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our dynamic pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will have all required certifications up to date and will be well-versed in assisting with pediatric dental procedures, including but not limited to oral sedation, nitrous oxide, and general anesthesia
You will be working directly with our pediatric patients, providing high-quality care in a comfortable and supportive environment. Fluency in both English and Spanish is recommended to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations and ensure they feel at ease during their visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assist the pediatric dentist during various dental procedures.
- Take Digital dental X-rays as needed, following proper safety protocols.
- Perform coronal polishing and apply sealants to children’s teeth under the direction of the dentist.
- Monitor and support patients under oral sedation, nitrous oxide, and general anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during pediatric dental treatments, including managing dental instruments, materials, and patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
