We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Cook to join our team , morning shift only, no night shift ever. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Your culinary expertise will help create a welcoming and satisfying experience for our guests, setting the tone for their day. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, poaching stations, and food production appliances safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, including portioning, plating, and presentation of breakfast dishes.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume production setting while adhering to recipe guidelines.
- Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and food handling protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service during busy morning hours.
Experience
- Previous dietary aide or culinary experience in a restaurant, or catering environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated food preparation skills including grilling, poaching, and general cooking techniques.
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling protocols.
- Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production processes.
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings that require quick turnaround times and attention to detail.
