About the Role:

Become a Delivery Associate (DA) for Patel Logistics Inc, in the fast-pacing work environment, where you will be delivering a Mercedes Benz. You will be trusted to always act professionally and efficiently operate our delivery van without supervision. There is full time support lines to assist the driver while out performing tasks so no issue they face can’t be assisted and resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses using a provided company vehicle.
- Customer Service: Interact positively and professionally with customers to provide a great delivery experience.
- Route Management: Follow a planned delivery route, which will be provided each day, ensuring timely delivery of all packages.
- Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handle packages carefully, and use handheld technology to manage deliveries.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations, including wearing seat belts and obeying traffic laws.
- Problem Solving: Handle unexpected issues that may arise during delivery, such as incorrect addresses or package damages, and escalate as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other associates as necessary and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the management team.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs, and comfortable walking and climbing stairs.
- Technology Use: Proficient in using handheld technology and GPS devices.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.

Pay: $23.25 - $30.00 per hour
