Position Summary
The Associate Engineer will support the project team in completing design and construction documents for land development projects. The candidate will be required to work under moderate supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing construction plans, site plans, utility plans, grading plans, and exhibits
- Using Civil3D for the design and production of plans
- Performing engineering calculations to support design
- Preparing reports to support design
- Communicating with team members, approval agencies, and clients
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Up to one (1) year of similar experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related
- Microsoft Office and Office 365, SharePoint, Bluebeam, Civil3D, Smartsheet
- General knowledge of plan requirements and details necessary for construction plan submittals to approval agencies for permitting and approvals
- Knowledge of land development and survey terminology
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and develop professionally
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
