EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will provide essential administrative, budgeting, and coordination support that helps the Bureau operate efficiently. The work you will do includes financial tasks, project coordination, and daily office responsibilities that keep information and processes on track. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties: Procurement Support: Review purchase needs, assist staff, and process requisitions and receipts through the Commonwealth’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systemBudget Assistance: Monitor budget activity, help with adjustments, and communicate financial information with staffInvoice Processing: Review and process invoices and resolve errors to ensure timely payment trackingFunds Management: Track commitments and prepare financial reports to support Bureau operationsProject Coordination: Support annual planning and research tasks by preparing estimates and organizing program materialsAdministrative Support: Maintain files, manage training tasks, support timekeeping, and coordinate communication needs for the BureauInterested in learning more? In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
