Overview
We are still seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This position is a 1099 position. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive different types of trucks.
- Unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards.
Requirements
- ** 2+ YRS Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record**
- This is a 1099 position.
- DAILY WORK FULL-TIME WORK 2-4 runs/day
- Truck rolling out at sunrise
- Experience driving tractor-trailers, and flatbeds is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
- Chaining and Binding is required with each concrete structure load.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transport.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Must pass a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- TWIC Card is a plus
