Description:
The Communications Coordinator advances the mission of Rapha International by developing and executing messaging to engage donors, raise awareness, and support fundraising efforts. Working with the Development Director, this role manages campaigns across digital and print platforms, coordinates events, and collaborates with the communications team members to deliver high-quality communications and marketing that advance the mission of Rapha International.
Essential Responsibilities:
Communications Strategy & Content Development
- Collaborate with the Development Director to create and implement annual and campaign-specific communication strategies.
- Develop and coordinate promotional materials, email campaigns, text messages, merchandise, and other communication projects as needed.
- Support message development and storytelling for donor engagement, media outreach, and digital platforms.
- Maintain and manage the organization-wide communications calendar.
- Organize and maintain access to approved brand assets, including logos, templates, and photography.
Digital Platform Management
- Manage communications platforms including Active Campaign, True Dialog, and Classy.
- Oversee the Freedom email account and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with paid digital advertising efforts on platforms such as Meta Platforms and Google, as applicable.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship
- Assist with gift acknowledgements and donor appreciation initiatives.
- Manage requests for Freedom Kids information, materials, and speaking engagements.
- Support donor-focused communications and engagement strategies.
Event Coordination & Representation
- Coordinate Rapha-hosted events and manage associated promotional and event materials.
- Represent Rapha at conferences, churches, and community events as needed.
- Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to support organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience required in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in communications, fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development strongly preferred.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
