Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Family Therapist to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children, families, and individuals, fostering resilience and positive change. Your expertise will help families navigate complex challenges, improve communication, and strengthen their bonds through innovative counseling techniques.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, family dynamics, and behavioral needs using clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools.
- Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Support reunification processes for families
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability.
- Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams, including case management and community care providers, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Collect data on treatment progress, maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines, and document clinical interventions thoroughly.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling sessions while adhering to best practices in telehealth experience.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical setting.
- Strong background in family therapy, marriage & family therapy, or child & family counseling with demonstrated success in working with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, and addiction counseling.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
