Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Media Coordinator to join a media buying and creative startup that services home remodel / home improvement companies in local markets across the U.S. In this role, you will support the media buying process using creative strategy, copywriting, supporting buying of local spot TV, Radio & Programmatic advertising.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and provide reports on budgets and ad delivery as needed.
- Provide backend support of media plans that align with client objectives and budget constraints.
- Import media station pricing and programs into media buying software.
- Monitor and update spreadsheets with various station, media representative & traffic department contact info.
- Understand how proper messaging influences buyer decisions with compelling copywriting and digital storyboarding.
- Backend support for execution of media buying across multiple channels including broadcast, radio & OTT/CTV.
- Monitor & Maintain ad budgets.
- Reconcile media invoices for accuracy at end of each month.
- Approval/rejection of makegood offers.
- Management and evaluation of Posting/Under delivery.
- Actively participate in Client Creative Strategy Sessions.
- Media Buying Software - Galeforce Media
- A background in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience or coursework in media planning and buying is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience with media buying software is a plus, but not required.
- Reasonably understanding of local TV/radio spot buying or willing to learn.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Newly or recent graduates with a degree in Marketing, Advertising or similar background are also welcome to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
