Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth service flow
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cleaning of workstations and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and storage areas throughout your shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to proper hygiene protocols
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment by following sanitation procedures and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering environments is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous
- Previous hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
