Independent Living Community Caregiver
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Are you an experienced caregiver who enjoys staying active, meeting different people, and making a difference throughout the day?
A Place At Home – Reston is looking for a dependable and compassionate Community Caregiver to support multiple residents within an Independent Living Community. Rather than being assigned to one client for an entire shift, you’ll assist several residents with scheduled care needs throughout the day.
This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who is organized, personable, and enjoys variety in their work.
Responsibilities
- Assist multiple residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care assistance
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers as needed
- Provide companionship and light household assistance
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and our care team
- Move between scheduled clients throughout the community
- Report changes or concerns promptly to the care team
Qualifications
- Previous professional caregiving experience required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable supporting multiple clients during a shift
- Ability to multitask and manage scheduled visits
- Experience with dementia care is a plus
- Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to commute to Fairfax County, VA
