EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Tutors play a key role in enhancing students’ academic performance by offering tailored support and guidance. They work closely with students to identify learning challenges, reinforce subject knowledge, and develop effective study strategies. By creating a positive and engaging learning environment, tutors help students build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their educational goals. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Six months of tutoring experience
Proficiency in the subject(s) area being tutored, demonstrated through academic achievement, certifications, or practical experience

COURSE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

NAE: Familiarity with clinicals

BIO: Familiarity with assisting students in Cadaver Lab

ECE: Familiarity with assisting students in observations

WRITING: Familiarity with APA, MLA, and Chicago Style

MATH: Familiarity with TI-83, TI-84, or TI-nspire calculator
