Responsibilities
- Operate equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, to load, unload, move, and organize inventory safely and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision using order pickers and RF scanners to ensure correct items are shipped on time.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting all transactions.
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for order fulfillment.
- Support packaging operations by preparing products for shipment according to company standards while maintaining safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels aligned with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, including order fulfillment, picking & packing, shipping & receiving, is highly advantageous.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs, is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety procedures is critical for success in this role. Pay: $24.02 - $27.00 per hour
