Sheridan Medical Lodge is hiring an Activity Director Assistant for our 130-bed facility. This role supports the planning and execution of resident activities to maintain engagement and compliance with regulatory standards. You will track daily participation and coordinate group events, ensuring every activity aligns with individual care plans. Efficient coordination helps our team meet both documentation requirements and daily scheduling goals.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $14/hour
- Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday - Saturday, 8am-5pm (with occasional weekend flexibility for special events)

Responsibilities
- Lead daily group and individual activities tailored to resident preferences and cognitive levels.
- Document resident attendance and engagement levels in compliance with facility protocols.
- Set up activity rooms, transport residents to events, and maintain supplies.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to plan monthly calendars and seasonal events.
- Assist in recruiting and guiding volunteers for facility programs.

Sheridan Medical Lodge operates a structured, clinical environment designed for 130 residents in Burkburnett. The facility focuses on reliable scheduling and organized floor workflows to keep daily programs running on time. Team members work together to maintain clean, fully supplied common areas, which helps support consistent care delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage group dynamics.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
