Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and operates with minimal supervision. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this is a dual-role position that functions as the Office Manager supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the office. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (Primary Focus):
- Administer and support core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee
relations, and HR compliance
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HRIS and personnel files
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
- Partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
- Coordinate and assist with employee training programs and supporting training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
- Organize company events, meetings, and internal communications – reinforcing a strong
and engaging workplace culture
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure an efficient and productive workplace
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility needs
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and workplace safety initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries
- Organize company events, meetings, and internal communications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Other duties may be assigned. May have supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or
equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- HR Certification preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and/or SPHR
- Experience with office management or administrative operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
