We already pay above market for installers — this role is the next rung up.
We're hiring an experienced Lead Installer to run install crews, set the standard for quality on every job, and help us build TodayAir's reputation one house at a time.
What you'll do
- Lead a 2–3 person install crew on residential HVAC replacements — split systems, heat pumps, ductless, and ductwork
- Be the last set of eyes on every install: quality, code compliance, and safety are on you
- Walk homeowners through the job in plain English, set expectations, and leave the house cleaner than you found it
- Train and mentor less experienced installers on your crew
- Represent TodayAir like an owner — accountability starts with you on the truck
What success looks like in 90 days
You're running your crew independently, installs are going out with few callbacks, and homeowners are leaving 5-star reviews that mention you by name.
Must-haves
- Valid driver's license
- EPA 608 certification
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, including leading a crew
- Comfortable being the face of the job to the homeowner
Nice-to-haves
- NATE certification
- Experience with ductless mini-splits and heat pumps
- Experience training or mentoring other installers
Pay & benefits
- $34–$50/hr based on experience — top of the market for a proven crew lead — plus a performance bonus tied to install quality and speed

Where you'll work
You'll be on residential jobsites across Auburn/Opelika and the surrounding area — no long-distance travel.
