Role Overview
A reputable and long-standing manufacturing firm is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support their operations. If you thrive in high-energy production settings and have a passion for resolving complex mechanical and electrical challenges, this role is a great fit.
The daily workload is split between mechanical and electrical tasks at a 70/30 ratio, focusing heavily on boosting equipment uptime, executing routine maintenance, and ensuring overall machine reliability.
Core Responsibilities-
Identify, fix, and service various industrial production machines.

Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and provide rapid response to equipment failures to keep the line moving.

Analyze and resolve faults within hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Provide support for Allen-Bradley PLC-based machinery without needing to perform programming.

Maintain electrical components such as relays, VFDs, contactors, starters, and motors operating at voltages reaching 480V.

Restore functionality to production assets including pumps, mixers, conveyors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, and sprockets.

Utilize technical diagrams and electrical schematics to guide repair work.

Conduct root cause investigations to help enhance the long-term reliability of plant assets.

Ensure a secure working environment by strictly adhering to LOTO protocols and all facility safety standards.
Required Qualifications-
Minimum of five years spent in an industrial maintenance capacity.

Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.

Background in diagnosing issues with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.

Practical knowledge of electrical infrastructure up to 480V.

Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Familiarity with rotating equipment, pumps, mixers, conveyors, and related hardware.

Capacity to manage maintenance priorities and operate autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications-
Skills in metal fabrication and welding.

Certification or experience with scissor lifts and forklifts.

Foundational knowledge of pipefitting.

Prior work history in GMP-regulated environments like pharmaceuticals, food, or chemicals.
Site Conditions
You will be working within a GMP-certified production plant. The company supplies all essential tools, and staff must utilize required safety gear, such as hearing protection, respirators, steel-toed footwear, and other specialized protective equipment as dictated by the task.
