Overview
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Server to join our sushi restaurant team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and make recommendations when needed.
- Serve food and drinks while ensuring quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor tables and respond promptly to guest requests.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
