This position is responsible for providing professional-level consultation and guidance to managers, supervisors, employees, and campus partners on a wide range of human resources matters throughout the employee lifecycle. Under general direction, Human Resources Consultant 2 independently administers onboarding and offboarding processes, maintains the accuracy and integrity of employee and position data within ctcLink.
The role supports operational continuity by ensuring compliance with HR policies, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to workforce planning. It requires sound professional judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to resolve multifaceted issues while balancing institutional priorities.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students.
