Overview
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. As a HHA you're required a year experience for this postionYour primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need of assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living or caregiving environments is preferred.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Knowledge of medical records management and understanding of HIPAA regulations is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
