Role Description This is a flexible/part-time role for a Class A CDL Show Driver. The Show Driver is responsible for safely operating and transporting show trucks and event equipment to and from event locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and assisting with setup and teardown of mobile marketing displays. The role may involve loading and unloading equipment, securing cargo, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance of the truck and display units. Drivers also coordinate with event staff, communicate any vehicle or route issues, and represent Warnert Promotions professionally at all client venues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record; demonstrated proficiency in Truck Driving for regional or event-based routes.
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver a Truck and attached trailers, including backing, parking, and navigating event sites.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations, hours-of-service rules, and adherence to all safety and compliance requirements.
- Capability to assist with basic loading and Unloading of event equipment, displays, and related materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a show driver, event driver, or similar role is preferred.
- Strong reliability, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
- Physical ability to perform duties such as climbing in and out of trucks, handling equipment, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, event staff, and the public, representing the Warnert Promotions brand positively.
