The Clair Firm, LLC seeks to hire 1-2 Interns for the Fall Semester. We are looking at both Law Student and College Student Interns. Practice areas include Real Estate Law, Estate Planning & Probate & Business & Contract Law. This is a great opportunity for a student to get legal experience before entering their legal career. The internship is 2-3 days a week, or 10-25 hours a week. The candidate must be a current law, paralegal, or college student. Class credit may also be given if school approved. Law students will be paid on the higher end of the pay scale. The internship will begin the week of August 17th 2026 and be completed in December 2026
Duties will include:
- Organizing and filing office files
- Sorting and scanning in incoming mail
- Answering office calls and scheduling consultations
- Giving client updates on their case
- Preparing Letters and correspondence to clients, opposing parties and courts
- Conducting legal research
- Learning how to draft certain legal documents and motions
- Following up with potential clients referred to us and updated the referral report.
- E-filing motions, pleadings, etc.
- Assisting with real estate closings and estate plan executions
