Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Uses computer to enter records/ tickets or to locate bins for putting away stock. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Daily cleans floors, aisles, products, excess wrap and boxes from Warehouse
- Uses safety harness and audible signals to assure personal and coworker safety.
- Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order. Marks hazardous materials as per instruction. Marks materials with identifying information.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Provide excellent customer service and build customer relations.
- Prepares parcels for mailing.
- Maintains inventory records.
- Flags all hazardous materials and uses proper markings to display as hazardous.
- Reports equipment maintenance problems to management.
- Follow all safety regulations and precautions.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Occasional Driving & Delivery Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with local deliveries or pick‑ups as needed (CDL not required).
- Perform basic pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Ensure all transported merchandise is secured and handled according to company standards.
Job Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures that can drop below 32 degrees or as high as 60 to 90 degrees.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have experience with a Cherry Picker.
- Must wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
Will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
