CLS is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator Paralegal local to Sugar Land, TX. The Contracts Administrator Paralegal supports contract lifecycle management through Ironclad and assists with day-to-day legal and compliance operations across nine affiliated companies. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in legal operations, corporate compliance, and insurance management within a multi-entity environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contract Lifecycle Management (Ironclad)
- Support daily operations of the Ironclad contract management system
- Assist with contract intake, routing, and workflow tracking
- Ensure contracts follow established templates and processes
- Troubleshoot basic system or workflow issues and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Sales, Operations) on contract requests
Legal & Compliance Support:
- Track compliance requirements and deadlines across multiple entities
- Assist with Secretary of State filings, including annual reports and registrations
- Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely filings
- Support tracking of workers’ compensation compliance across jurisdictions
Insurance & COI Management:
- Assist with insurance renewals, including data gathering and coordination with brokers
- Maintain records of policies, renewal schedules, and documentation
- Track and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs), ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
Multi-Entity Coordination:
- Support legal and compliance activities across nine companies
- Help standardize and organize documentation across entities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and provide updates
Administrative & Organizational Support:
- Maintain organized records of contracts, filings, and compliance documents
- Update tracking tools (spreadsheets, logs, dashboards)
- Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects
Qualification Requirements (minimum and preferred requirements):
- Must have 1-3+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Must be local to Sugar Land, TX.
- Must be okay with a hybrid schedule with 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
