Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (with option to work other events throughout the year on a case-by-case basis)
About Us: Farm to Fingers caters heavily to weddings in Southwest Colorado, local business events, as well as intimate home gatherings. We offer both an extensive hors d'oeuvres menu, as well as full-service catering, rentals, and bartending services. We strive to work with local farmers and small businesses to integrate their ethically produced goods into our grazing boards and catered meals.
Position Overview: We are seeking a personable, reliable, and detail-oriented Bartender who thrives in a fast-paced event environment. This position supports weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings throughout the summer and fall seasons (Now–November). The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and can maintain professionalism while managing a busy bar service.
As a member of our event team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring guests receive attentive and friendly service throughout each event.
This is a seasonal position from now through November. Availability to work most weekends, particularly Saturdays, are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Bar Service + Event Execution
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages according to event specifications.
- Set up, stock, and maintain bar stations before, during, and after events.
- Ensure efficient and professional beverage service while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
Guest Experience
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
- Answer questions regarding beverage selections and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve responsibly in accordance with Colorado liquor laws.
Inventory + Organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout events.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to event leads.
- Handle glassware, equipment, and bar supplies with care and attention to detail.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with catering staff, event leads, and venue personnel to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist team members as needed to support overall event success.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in weddings, catering, hospitality, or high-volume event settings. Experience preparing standard cocktails and managing bar service independently is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working in fast-paced environments. Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to event venues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- TIPS Certification or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
