Additional Job Requirements include but are not limited to the following items:
- Must be able to oversee a classroom and give direction and mentorship to assistant teachers
- Must ensure children are taught at their level, follow Oakcrest guided curriculum, conduct assessments on children when scheduled and ensure children are growing and learning at a proper pace
- Must pass all state and Oakcrest required background checks, trainings and any additional information needed
- Must be able to carry out all job duties including following the classroom schedule, implementing all lesson plans and following the classroom checklist as well as state and Oakcrest regulations
- Must have a flexible schedule to work needed hours based on the classroom and school needs
- Must talk to children in a calm and professional manner and handle children with two hands and extreme care at all times
- Must maintain a professional working environment with other staff and administration by showing respect and proper communication
- Must be organized and able to use technology provided to properly track children, follow checklists, and keep the classroom cleaned and following the implemented planogram
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
