Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide general support to visitors and staff members
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate meetings and conference room bookings
- Transcribe and type documents as needed
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with heavy workloads,
- Calm under extreme pressure, work related stress, and deadlines,
-Open to constructive criticism, not defensive, and a good teachable attitude
- Ability to work with individuals charged with major felony crimes (including sex crimes and homicide), and
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information under all circumstances.
Qualifications:
-Multi-line Phone use is a must!
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
