Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and give correct change using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and wait times effectively
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or bussing duties during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality roles preferred but not required; culinary or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and transactions efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience with serving in fine dining or high-volume environments is advantageous
- Host/hostess experience or background in guest relations enhances your candidacy
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $22.58 - $27.19 per hour
