Job Overview
Rock Scaffolding is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Loader / Unloader to support our scaffolding operations. Our company provides safe, reliable, and high-quality scaffolding solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial construction, maintenance, and renovation projects.
In this hands-on position, you will help load, unload, organize, and prepare scaffolding equipment and materials for project sites. You will work closely with our field and logistics teams to ensure materials are handled safely and are ready for timely delivery and installation.
Previous scaffolding or warehouse experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload scaffolding components, materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare materials for delivery to construction and project sites
- Organize scaffolding equipment in designated storage areas
- Check materials for visible damage before loading or dispatch
- Assist with counting and sorting equipment and supplies
- Secure materials properly for transportation
- Help maintain clean and organized loading and storage areas
- Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and field crews as needed
- Assist with other warehouse and logistics tasks during busy periods
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work and lift or move scaffolding materials
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety instructions and company procedures
- Good attention to detail when handling equipment and materials
- Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions when required
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Previous construction, scaffolding, warehouse, or material-handling experience is a plus, but not required
