Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher/Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will also support the front-of-house team by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Clear and reset tables quickly to ensure smooth flow during busy service periods
- Support food safety management by adhering to sanitation standards and cleaning protocols
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and dish racks safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support catering and banquet setups by transporting dishes and supplies as needed
- Follow proper food safety procedures during dishwashing and food handling activities
- Assist with light cooking or food service tasks when required to support overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
