Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL class a Operator - Transportation Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy-duty transportation and construction equipment to support construction projects, and utility work. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient movement of heavy equipment. Must have clean driving record, in addition to passing drug test and background check.
Duties
- Operate a range of heavy equipment including rollback, cdl class a, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and front loader trucks to facilitate construction activities.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations for safe transportation and driver safety standards.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate machinery while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as class a tractor and trailer, dozers, loaders, backhoes, front loader trucks.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and safety standards.
- Experience loading and off-loading, binding and strapping.
- Must be Bilingual
- Experience with heavy equipment
