Firestopping Technician / Firestop Installer

A&Y GPR Services Corp is seeking an experienced Firestopping Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing firestop systems on commercial construction projects and be committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.

Pay
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
(Based on experience, qualifications, and tools)
Job Responsibilities
- Install fire-rated penetration and joint seal systems in commercial buildings.
- Apply fire-rated sealants, sleeves, collars, wraps, and caulking systems.
- Follow UL-listed firestop assemblies and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all work meets applicable fire and building code requirements.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in firestopping.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Own vehicle.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Professional references.
Preferred
- Knowledge of UL firestop systems.
- Experience with penetration seals, joint systems, curtain wall firestopping, and insulation materials.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
