The Sales Manager is responsible for directing, driving and growing the market share on existing and new contractors, retail and web sales. You will be responsible for cultivating new and existing customer relationships, generating new customers, and creating product demand while controlling overhead and resource costs.
You will be expected to create sales plans and goals for the web, retail and contractor sales teams while implementing actionable items to achieve these goals and plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following
Sales
· Develop, foster and grow contractor relationships and sales within sales regions.
· Direct outside sales teams to achieve set sales plans and business objectives.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to increase business and accomplish/exceed quarterly goals.
· Implement metrics to review all sales personnel. Create sales incentives and compensation packages for sales representatives.
· Identify potential new market areas and expansion opportunities. Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
· Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
· Create awareness and demand for the company products and services.
· Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing strategies.
· Create seasonal merchandising plans based on new products and products sell cycles.
· Operate the Sales Center (inside & outside) while providing customers with the “Disney” experience.
· Regularly creates and host company events to drive sales and inform customers of product selection.
Management
· Oversee, develop and lead Contractor and Sales Center teams.
· Develop and train staff. Ensure each team is managing how they focus their time and increasing their efficiency and productivity.
· Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
· Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
· Ensure staff are properly utilizing BisTrack and CRM system and completing the input of all customer information/contacts.
Support
· Interview, hire, direct, reward and discipline associates: appraise associate performance and resolve complaints.
· Schedule training events to ensure staff are properly trained in all products and sales tactics.
· Promote and foster a positive company culture that aligns with the company mission statement and reduces turnover.
· Develop team on sales tactics and establish training programs for the organization’s sales representatives.
· Schedule and lead sales meetings on a weekly basis.
· Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
· Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and build brand awareness as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building teams and fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.
- Demonstrated success in managing successful sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong change management skills.
- Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment.
- Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques
- Minimum of five years’ related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
- Ability to motivate, coach, mentor, lead and incentivize a team.
Requirements
· This is a professional position, and additional hours may be required at times to meet customer needs. Minimum expectation is generally 45-50 hours per week at the Harwich location, including some weekends. As part of the sales team, you are required to be available during off hours and respond to calls/emails in a prompt manner.
