Material Handler: Winston-Salem, NC, 27105
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting daily operations on the morning shift.
- Receive, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Operate electric pallet jack safely and efficiently to move heavy materials.
- Use handheld scanners and tablets to track inventory and update records accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record keeping.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Experience operating electric pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with FIFO inventory management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting safely.
- Comfortable using technology such as tablets and scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Available to work morning shift hours.
