Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily and monthly-end cash management, including full reconciliation of bank accounts, digital payment channels (ACH, card processors), and general ledger activity
- Maintain and update the master bank activity report to support treasury visibility and cash-flow accuracy
- Assist with treasury operations, including cash positioning, short-term cash forecasting, banking relationship support, and monitoring liquidity requirements
- Reconcile incoming ACH and credit card payments from processors to the loan servicing platform system and resolve discrepancies across systems
- Build and maintain schedules supporting monthly trial balances, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Process, review, and approve high-value payments and transfers, including investor finding flows and end-of-month remittances
- Reconcile and record investor-related expenses, pass-through fees, and ad hoc activity; support end-of-month investor reporting and validation
- Post monthly servicing and custody journal entries to align accounting data with final investor reporting and remittance activity
- Support annual financial audits, and other internal and external audit requirements
- Maintain internal controls for fintech environments, including vendor/investor onboarding verification and banking detail validation
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, including inventory control, depreciation, capitalization and procurement approvals
- Train, supervise, and develop the Accounts Payable Specialist, providing guidance and escalation support for complex tasks
- Drive process improvements and implement scalable, accurate accounting and treasury workflows aligned with the company’s growth objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting, finance, treasury, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Experience supporting treasury functions, including cash management, cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, and banking operations
- Experience preparing or supporting investor, lender, and management reporting packages
- Experience managing various tasks including investor reporting, accounting and billing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to strengthen internal controls and identify process improvements
- Team player with strong work ethic who thrives in a proactive hands-on environment that is comfortable supporting multiple Accounting department functions
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or similar ERP accounting platform
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Basic knowledge and use of SQL is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fintech, lending, loan servicing, specialty finance, or financial services environment
- Experience supporting investor remittance reporting, custodial accounts, warehouse facilities, or structured finance transactions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
