- Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures with precision and care

Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized care plans

Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery

Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic surgery techniques

Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews

Provide mentorship to junior medical staff as needed
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree

Valid medical license to practice in the state of Athens

Experience in cardiothoracic surgery is preferred

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
Schedule: 5 days per month
Patient Census: 5 hospital encounters per day, or 25 per month
Procedures: Emergent CABGs, aortic dissections, etc.
Support Staff: 2 surgeons, 5 surgical APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
