Hatton Granite is seeking an individual as Full Time Memorial/Countertop Fabricator & Installer based in our Hatton office. For over 120 years, our team has been dedicated to producing high‑quality, custom granite memorials as well as, over 20 years in producing custom countertops. Key Responsibilities
Monument
- Assist the lead installer with the installation of monuments and markers in various cemeteries in ND & MN
- Transport materials using the company truck and follow maps, diagrams, and written specifications to locate grave sites, prepare foundations, and secure monument components.
- Guide memorials onto foundations using skids, handcarts, hoists, or truck‑mounted cranes.
- Install granite foundations.
- Fill joints with setting compound and assist with loading, unloading, cleaning, and repair of memorials.
- Support the maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
Countertops
- Load and unload machines in fabrication shop
- Load Aframes for installation routes
- Assist lead installer with installation of custom countertops at various locations around ND & MN
- Keep maintenance of machines and cleaning of fabrication shop
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to operate equipment such as steel setting carts, truck‑mounted cranes, and forklifts.
- Willingness to work outdoors and drive in varying weather conditions for full workdays.
Compensation & Benefits
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 to 10 hours a day starting at 8 am. Fridays usually off at noon.
