We're seeking compassionate individuals in Clinton and the surrounding areas to become Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This position supports individuals in a residence where a female staff member is required to meet the personal privacy and care needs of the individuals served. This role empowers you to:

Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.

Support individuals with community outings, recreational activities, and daily routines.

Utilize de-escalation techniques and follow behavior support plans as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment.

Respond appropriately to behavioral or medical situations following agency policies.

Work collaboratively with coworkers and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Minimum 6 months of experience in Direct Care or Human Services, or in roles like CNA, Residential Counselor, HHA, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, childcare worker, PCA, or similar.
Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Branford on 1st shift

Comfortable providing personal care, including feeding, bathing, and toileting assistance.
Ability to pass a background check
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
