Do Meaningful Clinical Work. Build Your Specialty. Have a Life Outside of Therapy.
Mindworthy Therapy is looking for a full-time W2 psychotherapist to join our growing team in Schaumburg, Illinois.
We are especially interested in clinicians who primarily work with adults and have developed a specialty, niche population, or advanced clinical training that they are passionate about.
At Mindworthy Therapy, we believe therapists do their best work when they have the opportunity to practice authentically, continue developing professionally, and maintain a sustainable caseload.
Our full-time clinicians see a minimum of 20 clients per week. Beyond that minimum, we support you in building a caseload and schedule that fits your clinical interests, professional goals, and life outside of work.
You don't need to build your own referral network, manage billing, or figure out the business side of private practice. We take care of the business so you can focus on being a great therapist.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a master's-level clinician who is fully licensed in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
Pre-licensed therapists will also be considered based on their clinical experience, specialized training, demonstrated clinical skills, and areas of expertise.
We are particularly interested in clinicians with a specialty or advanced training in areas such as:
- Couples therapy
- Family therapy
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Sports Psychology
- OCD and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Perinatal mental health
- EMDR
- EFT
- Gottman Method
- CBT
- IFS
- ACT
- DBT
- Somatic Experiencing
- Brainspotting
- Other specialized or evidence-based approaches
You don't need to have training in every modality listed above. We want to know what you are passionate about and what you do exceptionally well.
The Clinician We're Looking For
You may be a great fit for Mindworthy Therapy if you:
- Primarily enjoy working with adults
- Have a clinical specialty, niche population, or advanced training
- Are confident working independently while valuing collaboration
- Build strong, authentic therapeutic relationships with clients
- Are thoughtful, engaging, and attuned to clients
- Use evidence-based and/or specialized approaches to treatment
- Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills, with the ability to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.
- Are organized and committed to timely, high-quality documentation
- Value continued professional growth
- Appreciate being part of a supportive team without excessive micromanagement
- Want to grow your clinical specialty rather than being expected to be a generalist
Why Join Mindworthy Therapy? Build Your Niche
We want to help you become known for what you do best.
Whether you are passionate about trauma, OCD, couples work, perinatal mental health, ADHD, or another specialty, we support clinicians in developing their niche and connecting with clients who are a good fit for their expertise.
We provide an annual training/CEU stipend and encourage ongoing professional development.
Clinical Autonomy Without the Isolation
You will have the independence to practice according to your clinical training and approach while having a team available for consultation, collaboration, and support.
We value clinicians who can work independently—but we don't believe independent means on your own.
A Sustainable Caseload
Full-time clinicians maintain a minimum of 20 completed sessions per week.
We don't believe therapists need to maintain an unnecessarily high caseload to provide excellent care. Beyond the 20-session minimum, we encourage therapists to build a schedule that supports their clinical interests, professional goals, and work-life balance.
Quality Referrals Without Having to Market Yourself
Mindworthy Therapy provides administrative and marketing support to help connect you with clients who are looking for the types of services and specialties you provide.
You don't have to spend your evenings trying to fill your caseload.
W2 Employment & Benefits
Enjoy the stability and benefits of W2 employment without the administrative responsibilities of running your own private practice.
CompensationFully Licensed Clinicians
Fully licensed therapists start at $55 per completed session, with opportunities to increase compensation based on monthly productivity:
- Fewer than 84 sessions/month: $55 per session
