Position: MPCC is now accepting applications for an assistant for the institutional effectiveness team. Responsibilities will include compiling college enrollment and outcome reports and assisting with the administration of internal and external surveys. The role will also compile and track data on student outcomes, institutional information, effectiveness and planning. Additionally, the assistant will complete data updates for various reporting agencies that require a high level of accuracy and provide support for team projects. Candidates should have excellent customer service and communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage time well.
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Associate degree preferred, while a combination of postsecondary education and work experience is required. Preference given to candidates with experience in project management, data management, and utilization of data query and Microsoft software tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, SQL, Access, etc.). Hourly rate starts at $18.24 or higher depending on qualifications, approximately 24 hours per week, generally between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
